Services:
 
We offer a wide variety of services customized around a customer's needs that include but not limited to:
 
- Business Liquidations / Inventory Reductions:  Whether you are closing a business or downsizing, we can help liquidate your assets to quickly boost cash flow.  Upon meeting to discuss your overall goals, we will design the best solution (online and/or live auction)
 
- Consignments:  Trying to downsize a little or moving and want to sell most of your items?   We can quickly and easily sell your items for you at our auction house location.   There is no minimum or maximum regarding the number of items being consigned.   Auctions are held online on a weekly basis.  You bring it in and we will get it sold!
 
- Onsite Estate Auctions:  We offer onsite live events or online auctions from your home to liquidate your personal assets.   Each sales is customized to bring the best result for the customer.   We will build a plan around your personal schedule.  In a hurry and need to sell a large amount of items (moving) - this is the auction for you!
 
- Charity / Fundraisers:  Imagine the fun and revenue you can generate for your charity, church or group by having an auction.   We look at Charity Auctions and Fundraisers as Events.    We will help you plan and organize the event to maximize the best result possible.   Typical events include dinner auctions, costume party auctions, silent and / or live auctions.   Our goal is to bring the community together no matter what the area to support the particular cause.  
 
- Storage Facility / Unit: We work with storage facility to liquidate the contents of storage units where the renter is in default of the agreement.   The service includes verifying that all required / legal steps have been completed prior to the sell of the unit(s).   Have a personal storage unit - we can auction the items onsite (online or live) for quick liquidation before you incur another monthly fee.
 
 
If you need to liquidate your items immediately, we do purchase items directly depending on the items.  We also may be able to assist with a quick sell through our network of contacts.                      
           
 
Consignment Drop Off:
 
To schedule a time to drop off consignments, please contact us at (972) 742-6080 or email at kippkelton@triple8auctions.com.  We ask that you schedule a time (not required) so that we can review your items and give the you one on one attention you deserve.  Our standard drop off hours are as follows:
               General Hours:

               Monday:   4pm - 6pm
               Tuesday:  10am - 1pm
               Wednesday - Friday by Appointment

*These are not auction pickup hours.  Pickup times are listed under the terms of each auction.  Drop off hours are subject to change due - our voicemail is updated weekly with times.
              
 
We run a flexible schedule and are available to meet outside the standard drop off hours but times must be scheduled in advanced.  Pickup service is also available, call us for details.
 
Upon dropping off consignments, our staff will go through the items while you complete the required paperwork.  At that time, we will go over pricing of the items and pull out any items that we cannot accept. 
We will also review pricing for items and if any reserve pricing is necessary.

Terms & Conditions (General Terms):

All sales are final.
All items are sold "as is-where is" with all faults and blemishes and no warranty expressed or implied.
Bidders are encouraged to preview and inspect all items.  It is bidder's responsibility to determine condition, value, usefulness, functionality, authenticity, and all other factors.  Triple 8 Auctions is not responsible for errors of description.  Bidder, including internet bidder, shall be the sole judge of value.  No items will be shipped.

There is a 13% buyers Premium charged to all purchases.  On-site buyers must pay on day of sale; absentee and internet buyers must pay by Monday at Noon.  Buyers may pay by cash, Mastercard, Visa or Discover.  Sales tax will be collected on all taxable purchases unless a valid Texas resale or tax exemption certificate is filed with us on or before the sale.
 
Once the auctioneer indicates an item is sold, ownership passes to the successful bidder, along with responsibility for securing the item and making payment for the item.  Sold items must be removed no later than 1 pm Tuesday after a Saturday sale.    If buyer does not pick up the item immediately following the auction, buyer must contact auction company to coordinate a time for pickup.   Items remaining after 1pm Tuesday following the Saturday sale will encure a $10 late charge per item unless prior arrangements are made and approved by auction company prior to the end of the pickup period.   Open invoice of items not picked up by Tuesday at 1pm will be automatically charged using the credit card on file.   Items not picked up within 7 days of the date of the auction be be deemed abandoned and ownership of such items will transfer to the auction company.

Consignment Information:
 
Two Ways to Consign:
 1)  Schedule an appointment for your items to be reviewed at your home/business location or email pictures to us.  Upon review of the items, we determine the best way to auction the item and if the items is eligible for auction.

2)  Bring items to our auction location for drop off during our scheduled drop off times.  Upon dropping off consignments, our staff will go through the items with you and go over pricing of the items. Be sure to check our listing below of acceptable / non-acceptable items.
 
Fees:  Our fees are based on the quantity and quality of the items we will be auctioning and the services we will be providing:  Below are our standard fees for our online auctions at our location.  Charges apply to items sold...no fee for running items or for reasonable reserves placed on items.

Fee Options:


Standard Scale:  Percentages based on an incremental scale per item.

       $0 - $10 = 50%   $10.01 - $250 = 25%   $250.01 - $1000 = 20%   1000.01 and up = 10%

       Examples:

       Item sold for $100           Fee:  1 Level  $10 x .50 = $5.00
                                                        2 Level $90 x .25 = $22.50
                                               Total fee = $27.50

 Flat Rate Option 1:  35% 

  • Commissions for items sold are calculated at a flat 35%. 
  • Minimum of 25 unique (not the same type/similar)  quality items need to be consigned to qualify.
  • Quality items are defined by the overall perceived / estimated value.

Flat Rate Option 2:  30% 

  • Commissions for items sold are calculated at a flat 30%. 
  • Minimum of 35 unique (not the same type/similar)   quality items need to be consigned to qualify.
  • Quality items are defined by the overall perceived / estimated value.

Special Rates:   

  • For larger quantity consignments a special rate will be negotiated based on quality and quantity of items.


 
Following the auction, the consignor will receive a computerized / itemized statement showing what each item sold for along with a check/payment.  Payments are sent out within 7 days following the auction.
